Tata Chemicals Limited (TCL) has announced the “Best Chemistry Teacher Award (BCTA)” to recognise Chemistry teachers in India. The teachers teaching classes XI and XII graduate and post-graduate levels can be nominated through the website www.humantouchofchemistry.com.
The initiative is launched in collaboration with Association of Chemistry Teachers in India. Teachers can be a part of this competition through the process of self-nomination, nomination through a nominator i.e. students/ colleges/ others or nomination through ACT regional offices.
The winners will be selected by a panel consisting of scientists, industry professional and academia apart from the response of students through various social media platforms. The last date of registration is October 8, 2011.
It is to be noted that the United Nations has declared this year as the ‘International Year of Chemistry (IYC) 2011'.
